Snow Queen Trinity's Frozen Celebration

Simple design. Centerpiece is made up of a lage tissue paper pompom and old christmas ornaments hanging from curling ribbon.
Backdrop consist of plastic white table covers frrom DollarTree and white tulle.
FYI: White tulle is very versatile. Place and color table cover behind it to change the color without it looking cheap and tacky.

The Elsa and Anna decor is from Paty City, along with the Carribean blue table covers. These are also over layed with tulle. The fake snow and silver garland are from Kmart. I purched these after Christmas, so all the decor was 90% off.

Check below for instructions on the Frozen themed pillars.

Beautiful set up.

Frozen Themed Wands

Items needed:

Wooden Dowel
Ribbon
Curling Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
Snow Flake cut out
Glitter

Dot your dowel with hot glue and place one end of your ribbon on top.  ( I only had BBQ skewers fom last year, so I taped 2 of them together.)

Begin to wrap the ribbon around until dowel is fully covered. Seal with another dot of glue at the end.

Next, take your curling ribbon and tie it around the top. I repeated this step twice, but it can be repaeted more.
Glue your snow flake cut out on top. You can find a print out online or do the old school fold and cut.

I used my CriCut Accent Essentials cartridge.

Lastly, go over your snow flake with a glue stick and sprinkle it with glitter. (This is optional)

Office Space On A Budget

Ok. I've been hidding something from you. Don't worry it's not bad. No no, it's actually the direct opposite of bad. It's awesome!!! As you all know, I've been selling Mary Kay for about 2 months now and I've been blogging about the same. I have never had a space where I can craft, package orders, or blog. Between the kids and my lack of space my business started off in a whirlwind, but I am glad to say that that is no longer. I have finally created a space for me and it was all under $240.

This is the space I used. Yes, this is my basement. We used this rroom as our storage room. There was some of everything in here.

First things first, I cleaned the space out. I gave a ton to my local Goodwill and organized the rest. I can't believe how much stuff we had.

Next, I went on a hunt for furniture. I didn't only donate to Goodwill, I picked up some great items. I got a beautiful desk, storage baskets, a computer chair and some shelving. Of course I went to my favorite store Menards. I was able to get the rest of my shelves, the wood for my table top, paint and my carpet. They had spectacular deals when I shopped. My final store was Walmart, where I got my curtains, curtain rods and my throw and throw pillows. I repurposed everything else, with the help of my husband and sister.

Here is the outcome.

This craft table was inspired by this craft table I saw at Walmart for  $199 (picture below). My craft table was $44 with pieces I found at Menards (excluding the screws to put it together).
Menards:
Shelves $16 each
48"x 24"x 3/4" Board $12
12'x 7' Indoor/Outdoor Carpet $33

Walmart: Curtains $13 each

The pictures below are some of my Goodwill finds.
 Desk $14 Chair $10, Shelves $4 each.
The blank wall to the left in this photo isn't done yet. There are a few things I have planned for it.
Walmart: Curtains $5.99 each (panel only, lights not included)

                                                      Goodwill: Storage baskets $1, $2 and $3
Menards: Shelves $27 each

All my furniture has been painted white. Everything else is from around my home.
That gives me a grand total of $235. Best Investment ever. Please post your DIY pics.

Triniyah's BDay Under $50

My youngest daughter recently celebrated her 3rd birthday and wanted this lavish Barbie Fashion Show birthday party. I immediately began plotting how to pull off her flashy party right before Christmas. I was actually easier than I thought.

Yes. She was feeling herself in this jacket. You should see the rest of the photos. Ok, back to the party.
The pillar is an awesome project to keep in mind, because it can be used so often. It's super simple and only has 3 steps.
1) Buy
2) Cut
3) Tape
The pillar is a concrete form from Lowe's. They come in 4ft and 8ft. I chose the 4ft and cost $4.48. I also bought thick foam sheets and cut them in two different sizes and stacked the larger one on top of the small one to create the top. I purchased different color wrapping paper from Dollartee to cover the concrete forms. After that, cut and wrap everything. Don't forget your pillar top. That is wrapped aslo. For my base, I used a piece of phone with a sheet of shiny pape on top and BAM!!! I'm done. Add extra if you'd like. My splurge was silver trim, also from dollartree.

Rewrap and reuse often

Miss Pretty here, is from Dollartree (my favorite store). Her skirt was made from extra tulle I had. I cut little strips and tied them around a ribbon. Bunch them really close to get the skirt full.

The Makeup station was neat. No real makeup (my kids hae sensitive skin). They made their own lip gloss out of petroleum jelly and Kool Aid.
The tulle backdrop is just some tulle I had in my craft closet, backed by plastic white table covers

Hung pictures that I printed at home (blockposters.com)
Chair covers & sashes from Trinity's 5th BDay.
Table cloths from Dollartree.
Gift bags from Dollartree and filled with Dollartree goodies.

Finished product.

Added Sparkbooth.com software, a runway and a Taylor Swift CD (for Trinity).

DON'T FORGET ABOUT DOLLARTEE!!!!!!
